Yes, as long as it’s a dedicated walking session that average above 100 steps per minute. Walkers need to watch their gait, performance and shoe life too!
Each session will be logged as either a run or walk (two different icons) in the Run Log. The difference is average cadence. A session that averages below 140 steps per minute is a walk, and a session that average above 140 steps per minute is a run.
If you walk and run within a session, you can use the toggle on the Run Details screen to see key metrics for only your running minutes.
